Galicia is located in northwest Spain, bordering both the Atlantic Ocean and the Cantabric Sea. It’s name is after the Celtic people who lived there in the past. Tourist come to Galicia to enjoy the amazing landscapes and wilderness. The inlets along the coast are popular for fishing. With historic cathedrals, beautiful beaches and top-notch cuisine, it’s no wonder vacationers are flocking to the area. However, the hot summers can sometimes lead to drought, but rainfall is usually found throughout the year.
