Romantic Destinations in Chicago

Chicago may be known as the windy city but rather than thinking of it as frigid, think of it as a great place to snuggle with your loved one, or think of it as the city blowing you a big kiss. But whatever you think, when you think of romance you should think of Chicago. Believe it or not, Chicago is full of opportunities for lovers to enjoy each other’s company and create romantic memories.

Boat Cruise

There are a variety of cruises in the Chicagoland area, you can take a lakefront cruise or a river cruise, one that focuses on the architecture of the city’s buildings, canine cruises, pirate cruises, sightseeing cruises or romantic dinner cruises. Pick the Chicago River or Lake Michigan boat cruise that best suits your romantic style and enjoy the sights and sounds of Chicago from the water.

Navy Pier

Navy Pier has a number of things to do for couples, some of them romantic, some not so romantic. There are also more obscure plays to make you laugh, cry, or even get a little angry, but no matter what its always an entertaining experience.
