I have stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge several times, in both Savanna and standard view rooms. We had a rental car our first time, never even used it. The bus service is very efficient, and while the resort is a ways away from some of the parks, it doesn't stop anywhere else but the Animal Kingdom Lodge, so in effect, it is a pretty short ride to any of the parks. In fact, the bus service is much better than the last three resorts we stayed in, Boardwalk Inn, Polynesian and Caribbean Beach. Great review, I really enjoyed it.
