The Puget Sound is a series of interconnected waterways located in the northwestern part of Washington in the United States. However, the term can also be used to refer to the general area surrounding the sound, which includes the Seattle metro area and is home to 4.2 million people. The Puget Sound has played a very important part in the history of Washington and the surrounding area and it remains a lovely tourist attraction for visitors to the state.
