Denali National Park and Preserve is located in Alaska and it is home to Mount McKinley, the tallest mountain in North America. All together, the park and preserve cover a total of 9,492 square miles. Originally, the park was named the Mount McKinley National Park, but it was incorporated with the Denali National Monument to create one single park and preserve.
