Copacabana is a borough of Rio de Janeiro located in the southern part of the city and it is home to one of the most well-known beaches in the world. The beach stretches from Posto Dois to Posto Seis, lifeguard watchtowers two and six, and there are historic forts and both ends of the beach. The spot has become world-famous as a place to enjoy wild nightlife, as there are many hotels, restaurants, bars, and night clubs along the promenade.
