Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is a coastal town located in the Limon Province of Costa Rica, which is situated in the southeastern part of the country. The area is especially known among Costa Ricans and tourists alike as an excellent place for surfing because of its world-class beaches, as well as for its reggae music. Punta Uva is one of the most impressive of Puerto Viejo’s beaches, visited by thousands of tourists each year.
