Canaima National Park is a park located in southeastern Venezuela that borders both Brazil and Guyana. The park was established in 1962 and it is the second-largest park in the country, already larger than the state of Maryland or the country of Belgium. The area is most famous for the tepuis, table-top mountains, that dot the area, a distinction that gave Canaima National Park its UNESCO World Heritage Site distinction in 1994.
