Nugget Point is a landform located off the coast of New Zealand’s Otago region, which is located in the southern part of South Island. With a lighthouse dominating the tip of its headland, Nugget Point has become iconic as a representation of the area. Many seabirds, including penguins, gannets, and spoonbills inhabit the area, as does a large breeding colony of fur seals.
