Temagami is located in northwestern Ontario, Canada, a region that surrounds Lake Temagami. The area is home to a large aboriginal population which is officially referred to as the Temagami First Nation. Many tourists come to the area to enjoy Temagami’s beautiful red and white pines or to partake in water activities involving Lake Temagami. Wilderness canoeing vacations have become very popular in the area as well.
