Mirror Lake, also known as Lake Matheson, is located on New Zealand’s South Island and it is one of many gorgeous natural beauties throughout the spectacular country of New Zealand. Surrounded by Mount Cook and Mount Tasman, Mirror Lake got its name from the eerie way that the lake manages to perfectly recreate the imagery around it. The lake is very popular with campers and other visitors to the area.
