The Balboa Peninsula, commonly known as just “Balboa,” is located in Newport Beach, California. Its name comes from the Spanish explorer, Vasco Nunez de Balboa, and has become popular as a residential area. Balboa is home to a variety of historical landmarks, among which are the Balboa Theater, the Balboa Pavilion, and the Balboa Inn.
