The Club de Pescadores, located on the banks of the Rio de la Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was constructed in 1930 on an old pier that was built by a French company in 1903. The building officially opened in 1937, an occasion to which the president of Argentina at the time was invited. It was declared a national historic monument in 2001.
