Pine Creek Gorge is known as the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania and it is located in the Tioga State Forest along Pine Creek. The canyon stretches 47 miles, starting south of Ansonia, Pennsylvania and ends at the southern part of the state. At its maximum depth, Pine Creek Gorge is about 1,450 feet tall, and the majority of the area remains undeveloped.
