The Similan Islands are located in the Andaman Sea off the southern coast of Thailand. The area is also a national park, which was established in 1982. There are many tourist attractions throughout the islands, such as Ko Huyong, the longest and widest beach, and the many dive sites that draw scuba divers and snorkelers from all over the world.
