Olafsvik is a town of about 1,000 people located at the end of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula in Iceland. The town makes its living from its thriving fishing industry, as well as by the services it provides for its farming and commerce industries. Most people known Olafsvik, though, as the town near Mt. Kirkjufell, a symmetrical free-standing mountain famous among mountain climbers.
