In the western part of the United States, Lake Tahoe is one of the most popular vacation destinations. It’s located on the border between Nevada and northern California and has everything from ski resorts to casinos. Cities that are directly connected to Lake Tahoe include Sacramento, Carson City and Reno. Lake Tahoe is a tourist hot spot in both the summer and winter months.
