The Lincoln Memorial is one of the many monuments located in the National Mall in Washington, DC. Designed by Henry Bacon, the memorial stands almost 100 feet high, while the statue of Lincoln himself is 19 feet high and weighs over 175 tons. The Lincoln Memorial is a popular photo opportunity for visitors to the area.
