When you think of bridges in the city of Venice, the one you probably think of is Rialto Bridge. This bridge is the both the most famous and the oldest. It spans Venice’s Grand Canal and was built more than 500 years ago.

Nice photo!

I love bridges in Venice and in Italy in general – a few other covered bridges in Italy include one in Bassano del Grappa and of course Florence – I did a post recently on some of my favorites:
