Joshua Tree National Park is located in California in the southeastern portion of the state. The park has many different unique types of vegetation including ocotillo, creosote bush, cholla cactus and, of course, the Joshua tree – as pictured here.

Only those who have never been to the desert would say that it is not beautiful.
Great photo.
I have never been to the desert and have to agree that this is a great pic. The conditions in Joshua Tree National Park California are so very different to our National Parks in Australia where there is rainforest vegetation.
