Las Vegas’ New York-New York Hotel and Casino brings a little bit of the “Big Apple” to the desert.
Opened in 1997, New York-New York features more than 2,000 guest rooms and suites and over 84,000-square feet of gaming space. In addition, the outside of the hotel, which is created to resemble a variety of NYC landmarks, features a roller coaster and whips visitors around the perimeter of the property.
The rooms
Accommodations at New York-New York all feature Internet access, 24-hour room service, cable TV, and access to digital in-room movies and video games. Spa rooms also feature an in-room cloverleaf shaped whirlpool spa tub.
Restaurants
Restaurants at New York-New York include Gallagher’s Steakhouse, an ESPN Zone sports bar, Nine Fine Irishmen Irish pub, and Il Fornaio, an Italian trattoria.
Other facilities
In addition to the casino and the eateries, New York-New York boasts a large, full-service spa; a landscaped swimming pool area; a shopping arcade with New York shops, and a variety of nightclubs and bars, including the Bar at Times Square and Coyote Ugly.
