Author Archive for Sandy Mitchell
Sandy is a full-time freelance writer, who lives in the Midwest with her two cats, organic garden, and century home. When she's not sharing her experiences here at Kathika, she's writing for a variety of other Web sites, including About.com Cleveland, and b5 Media, where she talks about holidays and golf (though generally not at the same time). Her first book, "Cleveland's Little Italy" with Arcadia Publishing, was just released in June.
A former 20-year travel agent, bookseller, wine buyer, and interior designer, Sandy's knowledge runs the gamut from house to garden to cruises to overseas travel. When she's not writing, Sandy can be found digging in her organic, urban garden; curled up in her library with a good mystery novel; or enjoying one the Midwest's many events, restaurants, or attractions.
