Your skin is also part of the excretory system. The sweat in your skin helps regulate your body’s temperature. Sweat is excreted through sweat glands. There are two types of sweat glands- eccrine sweat glands and apocrine sweat glands.
The respiratory system is the part of the body that is responsible for bringing oxygen into the body and removing carbon dioxide from your body. Most living things require oxygen to live. The cells in your body require oxygen to perform many functions. When your body uses oxygen it produces another gas called carbon dioxide. Your body has to get rid of the carbon dioxide because too much of it can be deadly to the body. The respiratory system takes care of the exchange of gases (oxygen and carbon dioxide) through breathing.
